About Me

Hi.

I’m Chelsea.

I am super passionate about wellness, nutrition & exercise.

But I wasn’t always passionate. I was lost. I was stuck. I didn’t know what or who I wanted to be and I wasn’t getting any enjoyment from my life. I was rapidly gaining weight and knew that I had to do something to stop it.

So I joined a popular online weightloss program and I lost 8kg in 12 weeks, I ran a 12km fun run and fell in love with weight training. Fast forward to a few years later and I have competed in a body building competition. I have gone from strict dieting and calorie counting to seeking balance in my life.

I studied my passion.

I studied to become a wellness coach not just to help women like you, but to help me as well. I have applied a lot of what I have learned to my own life.

I practice what I preach.

I believe in:

  • having big dreams
  • goal setting
  • being authentic to ourselves.

This means:

  • we don’t do what everyone else wants us to do
  • we stand up for ourselves and our passions
  • we live a healthy and active life.
I am making a healthier version of myself to inspire you to do the same.

I am a Lifestyle, Food & Wellness Coach with a Bachelors ofΒ Arts QualityEndorsementTickLogomajoring in Psychology. I am also studying to become a certified personal trainer.

    Thanks for sharing on your blog, I have been thinking about doing Michelles 12WBT and will sign up for the next one after reading your success! I too have a marathon goal but Im still working up to 5km, I like your motto – running 1km at a time! VERY impressed at the length of your wall squats! I look forward to seeing how you go in the City to Surf πŸ™‚

      Round 3 starts next week – dont know if that’s too short notice for you. I would recommend doing her 10km program and then the marathon one after.

    Your blog is great. Its the before and after photos that really make me want to get involved in the 12wbt. I have similar goals to you, there is a dress that I would really like to fit into again. Going to give it a go this March, still not exactly sure which exercise program I should choose yet. I am short, around 160cm and aiming to lose around 15kg. As you have done it yourself… Do you think I could lose around 10kg first time around? I am someone that will dedicate myself to a challenge like this but need to see the results.

    1. Hi Sophie

      The 12 Week Body Transformation and is a great online program for beginners. Everything is provided to you and there is a lot of support. Once you have signed up, you complete preseason tasks. Once of these tasks is a Fitness Test and this will determine which program/s are suitable to your current fitness level and goals. I know plenty of people who have lost 10kg during their first round (on beginner, intermediate and advanced); for you, it would depend what your current weight is, and how your body responds generally to the meal and exercise plan. You could lose less or you could lose more.

      If you dedicate yourself to it, you will see results. I have no doubt about that. A 500g weekly loss is 6kg by 12 weeks – and that could be several dress sizes depending on the size of your waist at the moment. You might lose 100g one week and 1kg the next – so keep at it!!!
